About us

At Mini Guardians Academy, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, strong, and confident. Our mission is to guide children ages 2–5 through a balanced enrichment program that blends fitness, creativity, and life skills.

👨‍🏫 Led by Professor Sérgio Silva:

• Teaching preschool children since 1992.
• Over 36 years of experience in child development and martial arts.
• 5th-Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Judo.
• World Champion in Submission Wrestling.
• Studied Physical Education & Child Psychology in Brazil.
• Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
• Great and flexible to improvise and work side by side to any pre school in the Bay Area.

Professor Silva has been a proud Alameda resident since 2007, raising his two children in this community while running youth enrichment and martial arts programs.
